A little about Ms. D...
Hello! My name is Stephanie Dominello, and I am so excited and honored to be teaching you physics this year at MHS.
I grew up in a small town called Columbia, CT. I attended Windham High School, and then went on to UConn to pursue my B.S. in Civil Engineering. From there, I decided to stay at UConn and pursue my Master's in Urban & Transportation Engineering. I worked for a Connecticut engineering consulting firm for 3.5 years before deciding to switch careers to become a physics teacher. I earned a second Master's degree in education at UConn.
I recently got married in May 2010, and live in the Hartford area. I am a HUGE UConn basketball fan, and also enjoy watching the Red Sox and Celtics.
I am so excited to have you in my physics class this year! Science, particularly physics, has always been one of my favorite subjects, as it is all around us and impacts us everyday! My hope is to open up your eyes to the wonderful world of physics, and encourage you to be curious about the world around you!
